Frequently Asked Questions

  • What does MOCO express do?

Response:  We are a mobile oil change company that comes to you for your oil change needs instead of you coming to us.  We offer convenient oil change services whether you are at home, work or just on the go.

  • What services do you offer?

Response:  We offer standard and synthetic oil changes with filter replacement.  We offer an additional fluid top-off service which includes windshield wiper fluid and a battery test.

  • How does this work?

Response:  You call for an oil change (or other service) and we come to where your vehicle will be parked at the scheduled time.  This can be at home while the vehicle is in the driveway or at work in a parking lot or even while you are shopping and the vehicle is in the store’s parking lot.  We will do our best to work around your schedule, so you are not inconvenienced in any way.

  • Are there any restrictions to obtaining these services?

Response:  Yes, we ask that the vehicle be parked on level ground, preferably on a paved surface and isolated.  By “isolated”, we mean not near any obstructions and not parked on a busy road. We want the vehicle isolated so we can ensure the safety of our highly-trained drivers/operators.

  • How does the Driver/Operator access the engine?

Response:  Ideally, the customer is present at the time of arrival, so they can allow the Operator access to the hood release.  This is the only time the customer would need to be present. Of course, the customer is welcome to observe our Operators in action.  We have some interesting equipment and our Operators are highly-trained. Other arrangements can be made if the customer cannot be present upon arrival.  The vehicle can be left unlocked or the hood can be previously released. This is up to the customer and can be determined when the appointment is scheduled.

  • What are your hours of operation?

Response:  Our normal weekday hours are Monday to Friday from 10am-7pm.  Our typical weekend hours are Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm.  However, we are a customer-oriented business, so we can accommodate special requests.

  • My car has an Oil Life Indicator light.  Will it be reset?

Response: Yes.  If the customer is present with the ignition key, then the driver/operator will reset the indicator at the end of the service.  If the customer and/or key are not present, then the customer will receive instructions on how to reset the indicator with their invoice.  Each make and model of vehicle tends to have different reset procedures, but we have them all. And don’t worry, the reset procedures are easy and do not require any mechanical knowledge.  Many times it’s as simple as pushing a couple of buttons in sequence when the ignition is in “Accessory” mode (i.e. vehicle engine is not running).
